EDF Power Solutions is launching a tender for a full EPC contract covering the construction of the Baixas battery energy storage system located in Baixas, France, together with operation and maintenance services. The O&M scope covers preventive and corrective maintenance for a period of 15 years, during which the client may terminate the contract for convenience and free of charge. The system has a volume of 18 MW and 40.7 MWh, including spare parts for OPEX. The full EPC route applies, although the buyer reserves the right to source the revamping and BESS lots separately. Candidates must submit an offer compliant with the Net Zero Industry Act. Commercial operation date is 01/12/2027; the building permit date is 18/08/2025.
