The contract covers the renovation of the anti-corrosion protection of the edges of the Millau Viaduct deck, including edge beams with their supports and cornices, together with associated metalwork and waterproofing works. The scope covers both edges of the structure, about 2 x 2460 linear metres in total, and includes repainting of the edge beams, deck sides and plates, repainting of the masts supporting the windbreak panels, metalwork such as replacement of studs and plates, and renewal of the asphalt and waterproofing along the edge beam. Because of the geometry of the structure, special access modules must be used.
