France - Waste and refuse services - Management of the 8th waste stream

RTE, the French electricity transmission operator, is procuring a complete solution for managing its 8th waste stream under the French AGEC anti-waste law: collection and recovery of professional textiles, mainly workwear from operational activities. The contract covers supply of suitable containers, on-site collection, transport, possible sorting, treatment and recovery, plus traceability and reporting. The initial scope covers Network Maintenance Groups (GMR) with one container per site. Other PPE items may be accepted if compatible with non-hazardous waste.
