Le site environnemental de traitement des eaux usées de Thionville est exploité en délégation de service public par la société VEOLIA jusqu'au 31 décembre 2030. Il est dimensionné pour une capacité nominale de 80 000 EH et traite les effluents des communes de Basse-Ham, Kuntzig, Manom, Terville, Thionville et Yutz. Tout en faisant évoluer sa capacité de traitement avec un passage à 100 000 EH, Thionville Fensch Agglomération envisage une solution par méthanisation pour améliorer la valorisation des boues produites par la station, tout en injectant le biométhane dans le réseau GRDF. L'installation de traitement des eaux usées ne pourra pas être mise à l'arrêt. La continuité du traitement devra être assurée en tout temps. La mission d'Assistance Technique à Maîtrise d'Ouvrage (ATMO) comprend 5 phases Phase 1 : Assimilation des études préalables et établissement des préprogrammes Phase 2 : Assistance pour l'obtention des autorisations administratives Phase 3 : Programmation Phase 4 : Préparation et passation des contrats Phase 5 : Assistance dans le cadre d'un marché de type conception - réalisation. Le détail des missions par phase de l'opération figure au cahier des charges
