Description

Theatr Mwldan is seeking to procure the services of a qualified and experienced contractor to undertake roofing refurbishment works. You are invited to submit a tender for the repair/replacement of eight flat roofs with a total size of 525.5m2. To build up a warm roof mechanically fixed system with bespoke tapered insulation to ensure no pooling or standing water, including new outlets to all internal gutters, all parapet walls to be encapsulated and waterproofed. Must meet all current Building regs. Part B & Fire and Safety. British Standards & Drainage: Design must follow standards such as BS 6229 (flat roofs with continuously supported flexible waterproof coverings), ensuring correct falls (recommended 1:40 design fall to achieve a minimum 1:80 post-settlement) to prevent standing water under Approved Document H. Building Safety Act & CDM 2015: Compliance with duty holder accountability, the "golden thread" of traceable product data (e.g., BBA-approved membranes), and a robust Construction Phase Plan.
