El objeto del contrato consiste en la ejecución de una actuación integral, unitaria y coordinada para la creación del Complejo de la Música y Rehabilitación del Matadero Viejo para Almacén Arqueológico y adecuación del entorno urbano y ordenación de las zonas de aparcamiento de la ladera existente entre el Alcázar Puerta de Sevilla y los edificios del Nuevo y Viejo Matadero, mediante una solución urbana, arquitectónica y constructiva conjunta que comprende la construcción de la Nueva Escuela de Música sobre el solar del Nuevo Matadero de Carmona según Pliego Técnico del concurso, mediante jurado, para la redacción de proyectos, a nivel de anteproyecto, para la construcción del complejo cultural para la música y el patrimonio en los antiguos mataderos de Carmona y la adecuación de sus entornos urbanos; la rehabilitación del Matadero Viejo para su uso como Almacén Arqueológico, conforme al programa de necesidades descrito en el Pliego Técnico del Concurso de Ideas; y la adecuación e integración del entorno urbano, incluida la ordenación de las zonas de aparcamiento de la ladera existente entre el Alcázar Puerta de Sevilla y los edificios del Nuevo y Viejo Matadero, reforzando el atractivo paisajístico de la ruta «Washington Irving» de entrada a Carmona y eliminando el actual impacto visual y medioambiental del aparcamiento existente en las márgenes de la carretera A-380.
