Spain - Construction work for buildings - Works concession for drafting the project and technical supervision, construction and operation of the Madrid Congress and Exhibition Centre

Turespaña, authorised by the Council of Ministers on 6 May 2025, will tender a public works concession for the Madrid Congress and Exhibition Centre in Spain. The contract covers drafting the execution project, technical supervision, construction works and operation of the centre and its car park for 40 years, including a 48-month design and construction phase, in exchange for an annual fee paid to Turespaña. The CAPEX is estimated at 105.7 million euros with a project IRR of 7.65%. The concession concerns the remaining buildings of the complex, as renovation of Building B began in 2023 to host UN Tourism. The tender will be published on the Public Sector Contracting Platform and in the Official Journal of the EU; feasibility and preliminary project documents are available on Turespaña's Transparency Portal.
