El contrato está destinado a la construcción de un edifico de terapias avanzadas que albergará un equipo de protonterapia como un ciclotrón, en el Hospital Universitario de Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín e incluye el desvió del la canalización del barranco de la Ballena de tal forma que se evite su paso bajo la cimentación del nuevo edificio a construir.
