Se trata de una obra nueva de edificación en suelo Dotacional público para la construcción de un Colegio de Educación Especial. Es intención del Ayuntamiento de Illescas en colaboración con la Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deportes de la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha llevar a cabo una licitación conjunta de proyecto de ejecución y obra de un Colegio de Educación Especial para construirlo en un plazo inferior a un año mediante sistemas prefabricados o industrializados que permitan su puesta en funcionamiento en el menor plazo de tiempo. Desde el Ayuntamiento de Illescas se promueve este proyecto con objeto de dotar al municipio, y a los del entorno más próximo, de un Colegio de Educación Especial con capacidad para 100 alumnos.
