Description

La Unidad de Fabricación y Apoyo a la I+D tiene como objetivo la fabricación de las piezas y sistemas mecánicos requeridos por proyectos de investigación en diferentes tipos de programas (científicos o de desarrollo tecnológico) y modalidades (públicos, consorcios privados o mixtos), abarcando desde actividades en pequeños proyectos hasta contribuciones a grandes instalaciones. La mayoría de los trabajos de mecanizado que se realizan en la unidad referida, necesitan que, durante el proceso de fabricación, se usen máquinas de torneado. El objeto del presente contrato es el suministro, instalación y puesta en marcha de una nueva máquina de torneado por control numérico con mayor rendimiento a fin de sustituir una de las dos actuales que está obsoleta, además, de no disponer de recambios, generando problemas de mantenimiento lo que provoca retrasos y ralentización en el calendario de ejecución de órdenes de trabajo de esta línea, que sea visto aumentado hasta el extremos de no poder atender las necesidades de todos los proyectos de investigación. Por ello, para que el prestar un servicio más eficaz y de calidad a todos los trabajos de mecanizado necesarios para los distintos proyectos del CIEMAT y para cumplir en plazo los servicios técnicos solicitados por otros organismos y universidades, se necesita proceder al reemplazo de al menos una de las máquinas de torneado.
