El objeto del contrato es la contratación del servicio de mantenimiento integral de los equipos de producción de agua purificada y ultrapura de la marca Millipore (actualmente Merck) con que cuenta la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). Se trata de equipos críticos para la actividad científica y de investigación de la ULPGC, que requieren un mantenimiento periódico y especializado para garantizar, en todo momento, el suministro de agua de alta calidad conforme a las especificaciones del fabricante. El contrato abarca las operaciones de mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y conductivo de todos los equipos de producción de agua purificada y ultrapura vigentes y en funcionamiento en la ULPGC, así como la posible ampliación a nuevos equipos que puedan incorporarse o sustituyan a los existentes por obsolescencia durante la vigencia del contrato.
