Se requiere prolongar el mantenimiento y soporte experto de equipamiento de sistemas, comunicaciones y seguridad que presta servicio en la actualidad y que aún no ha alcanzado el final de su vida útil. AESA dispone de un contrato de mantenimiento y soporte experto para dicha infraestructura, que comprende tanto el mantenimiento correctivo, reparando o sustituyendo el equipamiento averiado, como el perfectivo y preventivo, aplicando parches software para prevenir potenciales vulnerabilidades y fallos. En el plano del soporte experto, este contrato incluye canales de asistencia experta para que el personal de AESA pueda resolver dudas respecto a incidencias y configuraciones de especial complejidad.
