Según la normativa vigente (RD 487/2022, de 20 de junio, por el que se establecen los requisitos para la prevención y el control de la legionelosis, y sus modificaciones posteriores) es preciso contratar este mantenimiento con una empresa habilitada para la realización de todas las operaciones necesarias para la prevención y control de la legionela de las instalaciones objeto del contrato, garantizando así su funcionamiento y la seguridad de los edificios para el correcto desarrollo de la actividad docente e investigadora.
