Dentro de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (en adelante, la UOC), el Área de Tecnología tiene la misión de proporcionar a todos los trabajadores de la universidad un soporte adecuado en el uso de las herramientas y aplicaciones informáticas que la propia UOC pone a disposición de los trabajadores para que desarrollen su trabajo dentro de la UOC. Por este motivo, requiere ofrecer un servicio de soporte al usuario ágil y de calidad. El Servicio de Atención al Usuario del Área de Tecnología tiene la misión de establecer las bases sistémicas para gestionar de manera adecuada, ágil y eficaz las consultas, incidencias y peticiones recibidas por parte de los trabajadores de la UOC que hacen referencia a los sistemas y aplicaciones que son responsabilidad de esta área, promoviendo el acompañamiento personalizado en realidades diversas. Adicionalmente, se ha justificado en el expediente la insuficiencia de medios propios para la realización satisfactoria del objeto del Contrato
