El objeto del contrato será el suministro de frutas y hortalizas en los centros escolares de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canariaspara el curso escolar 2025-2026, con el fin de fomentar el consumo de estos productos, incrementar la proporción de los mismos de manera duradera en sus dietas, promover hábitos y conductas saludables, con una pretensión mayor que es la de conectar la agricultura, las cadenas alimentarias locales, la producción sostenible y la agricultura con una alimentación más saludable y con menor impacto en el medio ambiente.
