Description

Actualmente la infraestructura de virtualización corporativa está desplegada sobre un conjunto de equipamientos Cisco UCS adquiridos el año 2015 y una vez han llegado ya al final de su vida útil, se requiere su renovación tecnológica desplegando un total de 10 nuevos servidores en los dos chasises HPe Synergy que la universidad tiene ya desplegados en sus dos CPDs. Con esta actuación se pretende renovar, actualizar y ampliar el equipamiento actualmente existente. La UIB dispone en cada uno de sus dos CPDs corporativos, de un chasís de servidores HPe Synergy con slots libres para alojar nuevos servidores y se requiere de su ampliación con la adquisición de 5 nuevos servidores en cada uno de ellos. De igual manera se requiere de la actualización tecnológica de la infraestructura de conmutadores Fibre Channel existente en cada uno de estos dos CPDs, mediante la adquisición de 4 nuevos conmutadores FC, pues los existentes actualmente (FC Cisco 9148) fueron adquiridos en 2015 y han llegado al final de su vida útil.
