Description

El objeto del contrato es la contratación del “Suministro de productos de alimentación, aseo, higiene y similares para el servicio de emergencia social municipal del Concello de Sanxenxo”. Según lo dispuesto en el Reglamento Municipal de Emergencia Social del Ayuntamiento de Sanxenxo, el organismo autónomo Terra de Sanxenxo es el encargado de la cobertura de la necesidades básicas de familias que acuden a los servicios sociales municipales en busca de ayuda o de alimento, dentro del programa básico de inserción social. Terra concede mensualmente estas ayudas, y en lo que respecta a productos de alimentación o aseo es necesario que su adquisición se efectúe mediante la contratación con un supermercado o establecimiento ubicado dentro del término municipal. Con este nuevo procedimiento se busca dar cobertura a ese suministro de los productos de primera necesidad solicitados por aquellas familias que se encuentran en situación de emergencia social, y de este modo resolver situaciones de emergencia social, tanto transitorias como para garantizar mínimos de subsistencia de vecinos del municipio. La tipología del contrato es la de suministro con carácter periódico y que tiene por objeto garantizar la cobertura de las necesidades básicas de alimentación, higiene personal y limpieza a unidades familiares en situación de vulnerabilidad social atendidas por los servicios sociales municipales.
