Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η εκτέλεση των απαιτούμενων επίγειων ενεργειών καταπολέμησης κουνουπιών στο αστικό, περιαστικό και αγροτικό περιβάλλον στο σύνολο της Περιφέρειας ΑΜΘ, ήτοι στις Π.Ε. Δράμας, Π.Ε. Καβάλας, Π.Ε. Ξάνθης, Π.Ε. Ροδόπης και Π.Ε. Έβρου, καθώς επίσης και την Εποπτεία του πληθυσμού των ακμαίων κουνουπιών και των επιπέδων κυκλοφορίας του ιού του Δυτικού Νείλου (ΙΔΝ) στο αστικό σύστημα στο σύνολο της Περιφέρειας Α.Μ.Θ., ώστε να εφαρμοστούν έγκαιρα προληπτικές δράσεις καταστολής.
