Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι, η προμήθεια δύο (2) φορητών μονάδων αφαλάτωσης θαλασσινού νερού, ελάχιστης δυνατότητας παραγωγής 300 m3/ημέρα πόσιμου νερού για την υδροδότηση του Δήμου Κύθνου. Οι μονάδες, θα λειτουργούν με τη μέθοδο της Αντίστροφης Όσμωσης (R.Ο.), θα είναι προκατασκευασμένες και έτοιμες προς λειτουργία, εργονομικά πλήρως εγκατεστημένες εντός των μεταλλικών containers.
