Description

Procurement to appoint a suitably qualified external Supplier to deliver Stages 2 and 3 of the Sustainable City Charter Innovation Challenge (“the Challenge”). The Challenge is designed to connect near-market low-carbon SMEs with Sustainable City Charter (SCC) signatories to deliver pilot projects and solutions that reduce operational carbon emissions from nondomestic buildings, which account for approximately 71% of Westminster’s boroughwide greenhouse gas emissions. This will support local green economic growth, positioning Westminster as a destination for green innovation and investment. The procurement is focused on appointing one specialist supplier to design, deliver and evaluate the Challenge itself. This will include: - Stage 2 - SME and signatory recruitment, matchmaking, administration of an SME grant scheme, pilot design and oversight; - Stage 3 - monitoring, evaluation and learning; production of pilot reports, case studies and a final evaluation report; and dissemination of findings, including delivery of a Demo Day, with recommendations for future adoption or scaling of solutions.
