Die Bahnstrecke Stralsund - Rostock Hbf (Strecke 6322) stellt die Verbindung zwischen diesen beiden Hansestädten in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern dar. Sie wird im Wesentlichen von Stellwerken gesteuert, deren Anlagen nicht mehr dem aktuellen Stand der Technik entsprechen. Von der DB InfraGO AG wird aus diesen Gründen die Erneuerung der abgängigen LST-Anlagen erwogen. Hierfür wurde das Projekt ?Ersatzneubau/Erneuerung DSTW-NB Rostock Serie 01 - G.016000295 ? ? Bast erstellt. Anlass dieses Projektes ist die Erneuerung der Leit- und Sicherungstechnik im Bahnhof Bentwisch.
