The H-Bahn is a fully automatic, driverless urban transit system running on an elevated track made of steel columns and beams. The track girders are hollow boxes with slits underneath; the bottom chords serve as running and braking surfaces, while the web plates guide the running gear. The contract covers the manufacture of two identical Y switches of the main line, WE01.02 (girder FA01TR024) and WE04.01 (girder FA04TR056), each consisting of a switch girder with an integrated point setting device whose drive is mounted on the top chord. The scope includes delivery and installation, removal and disposal of the existing switches, plus fabrication and installation of the switch drive cover and protective railings for switch walkways.
