Der Landesbetrieb für Hochwasserschutz und Wasserwirtschaft Sachsen-Anhalt (LHW) plant den Neubau (NB) des Deiches Hohenweiden mit den Deichabschnitten (DA) Benkendorf, DA Rockendorf und DA Hohenweiden. Aufgrund des großen Umfangs wurde das Vorhaben in mehrerei Baulose unterteilt. Gegenstand der hier geplanten Ausschreibung ist der Bau von ca. 3,4 km Hochwasserschutzdeich, 2 Sielbauwerken und einem Dükerbauwerk. Diese umfasst: • die Deichtrasse Benkendorf, • die Deichtrasse Rockendorf und • die Deichtrasse Hohenweiden. Mit den geplanten Maßnahmen soll der Hochwasserschutz auf die Ereignisse vom Juni 2013 bzw. deren unzureichendes Schutzniveau angepasst werden. Weiterhin ist die Maßnahme Teil der durchgehenden linksseitigen Hochwassersicherung der Saale.
