Germany - Ship conversion - Refit of the buoy tender Kapitän Meyer

The tender covers the refit and conversion of the former buoy tender 'Kapitän Meyer'. It is divided into two lots: Lot 1 comprises the repair of the ship's hull and superstructure including fittings, and Lot 2 comprises the conversion works. The developed usage concept foresees an extensive, heritage-compliant restoration and a targeted conversion so that the vessel can in future operate as a stationary museum and event ship in the museum harbour at the Bontekai, under the umbrella of the Küstenmuseum. The ship is currently moored at the Marinearsenal Wilhelmshaven, Bauhafen, Gökerstrasse Gate 1, 26382 Wilhelmshaven.
