Der Staatsbetrieb Sächsische Informatik Dienste (SID) führt im Auftrag des Sächsischen Landesamtes für Umwelt, Landwirtschaft und Geologie die Vergabe "Erstellung der Software DiBo.Sax für das Sächsische Gesteins- und Analytikzentrum (SGA)" durch. Das Bohrkern- und Probenarchiv des sächsischen Landesamtes für Umwelt, Landwirtschaft und Geologie (LfULG) wird im Neubau "Sächsisches Gesteins-Analytikzentrum" (SGA) untergebracht. Die Fertigstellung dieses Neubaus ist für Frühjahr 2027 geplant. Für die Bewirtschaftung des SGA durch das LfULG und für die Nutzung durch Unternehmen, Privatpersonen und Verwaltung soll eine Softwarelösung mit dem Namen DiBo.Sax erstellt werden. Im LfULG liegt aktuell eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen geowissenschaftlichen Sammlungen vor, welche zu einem großen Teil mit unterschiedlicher Datenqualität in verschiedenen Access- bzw. Oracle-Datenbanken gespeichert sind. Im Jahr 2025 hat das LfULG die Erstellung einer Software-Spezifikation (SWS) auf Grundlage eines vorhandenen Fachkonzepts in Auftrag gegeben. Die vollständige Software-Spezifikation liegt vor. Zudem liegt eine beigefügte Spezifikation einer minimal nutzbaren Software-Version, das sog. "Minimum Viable Product" (MVP) vor.
