Wartungsverlängerung Forcepoint Firewall Renewal Die derzeit eingesetzten internen Firewall-Appliances der Firma Forcepoint, Typ N6205, werden gemäß Herstellerangaben ab dem 31.12.2026 nicht mehr mit Software-Updates unterstützt. Diese Appliances bilden aktuell das Rückgrat unserer internen Netzwerksicherheit: Sie stellen sämtliche internen Firewalls (ca. 110) bereit und werden von rund 140 Administratorinnen und Administratoren genutzt, um die internen Netze der TU Dortmund zuverlässig vor AngriAen zu schützen. Darüber hinaus übernehmen die Systeme zentrale Aufgaben im Bereich des Netz Routings. Somit sind sie ein entscheidendes Element der IT-Infrastruktur der Technischen Universität Dortmund.Die Wartung der Forcepoint Firewall Renewal muss daher um weitere 3 Jahre auf Grundlage des bestehenden Rahmenvertrages der Ostfalia Hochschule verlängert werden.
