Germany - Software packages and information systems - Microsoft software licences under an Enterprise Agreement

The city of Troisdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia) is seeking a new Microsoft Enterprise Agreement with a Microsoft licensing partner. Its current EA contract for the procurement and use of Microsoft licences expires on 31 December 2026. The new agreement must ensure uninterrupted continuation of Software Assurance for the licensed products from 1 January 2027 and allow the purchase of additional Microsoft licences. Individual orders under the new EA are placed by the city of Troisdorf for its own needs. Existing licences and IT infrastructure were reviewed before the tender to determine current and future needs. As a municipality, Troisdorf may join an EA on BMI terms.
