The public authority building the new hazard control centre (Gefahrenabwehrzentrum, GAZ) in Greifswald, Germany, is procuring a redundant IT infrastructure covering clients, servers, network and peripherals. The systems must be planned, delivered, installed, configured and commissioned in two server rooms, in office and operations rooms of the GAZ, and at the site of the control centre of the district of Vorpommern-Rügen, applying IT baseline protection standards. Virtual servers must host applications including the Cobra 4e dispatch system and the MECC communication system. Existing IT components must be migrated and integrated. Service contracts must ensure operation and recovery. Acceptance depends on successful user tests based on a test concept prepared by the contractor.
