Germany - Rail-bound maintenance or work vehicles - Procurement of up to thirty (30) ballast distributing and levelling machines (SSP)

DB BahnbauGruppe GmbH intends to award a framework contract for the procurement of up to 30 ballast distributing and levelling machines (SSP), using a negotiated procedure with a prior call for competition. The machines must feature powerful plough technology for side, shoulder and centre ploughing to create ballast profiles in line with Ril 824, with adjustable plough geometry that can be reproduced precisely. Work output must be at least 1500 m/h while producing compliant profiles. The machines must operate on concrete, wooden and plastic sleepers as well as on tracks and turnouts, handle minimum curve radius of 170 m and superelevations up to 180 mm, be authorised for operation on the DB network at least track class D2 under the 4th railway package, be equipped with ETCS according to the specification and TSI, and offer ergonomic, air-conditioned and heated cabs suitable for carrying workers.
