Germany - Switchgear - EU notice: 10 kV container substation

The buyer, the grid operator Netzgesellschaft Duesseldorf mbH (NGD) in Germany, is procuring the turnkey construction of a factory-built, SF6-free gas-insulated 10 kV switchgear in a container design according to DIN EN 62271, using vacuum circuit breakers and technical air as insulation medium. The scope includes the medium voltage switchgear, installation of protection devices (provided by the buyer), a shipping container with all fittings, auxiliary systems such as AC/DC distribution, UPS, communication and remote control technology, electrical installation, lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation, fire and intrusion alarm systems, plus transport and installation. Bidders must have completed comparable projects, own design, production and testing capabilities, and have their own installation, testing and commissioning staff. Subcontractors must be approved by NGD. No variants or change proposals are allowed.
