Gegenstand der Vergabe ist eine Allgefahren Versicherung auf Neuwertbasis für fahrbare und transportable Anlagen und Geräte des Auftraggebers. Im Wesentlichen handelt es sich dabei um Arbeitsmaschinen und Geräte, die im Gleisbereich eingesetzt werden, wie z. B. Schnellumbaumaschinen, Bettungsreinigungsmaschinen, Gleis- und Universalstopfmaschinen, Lokomotiven, Montagefahrzeuge, Dreh- und Verlegekräne, Schotterplaniermaschinen, Materialförder-, Transport- und Silowagen, Gleiskraftwagen, Schleifzugmaschinen, Zweiwegebagger, Ladegeräte, Messgeräte - jeweils einschließlich Zubehör. Die Gesamtversicherungssumme beläuft sich auf voraussichtlich 630 Mio. EUR. Ca. 225 Mio. EUR entfallen dabei auf 27 Arbeitsmaschinen mit einer Versicherungssumme > 5 Mio. EUR je Maschine. Die zu versichernden Maschinen sind in vier Gruppen aufgeteilt: Gruppe 1: 2 Schnellumbaumaschinen Gruppe 2: 3 Bettungsreinigungsmaschinen Gruppe 3: Stopfmaschinen Gruppe 4: sonstige fahrbare und transportable Anlagen und Geräte < 5 Mio. EUR je Maschine. Die teuersten Einzelmaschinen sind zwei Schnellumbaumaschinen mit einer Versicherungssumme von 16,5 Mio. EUR je Maschine und 3 Bettungsreinigungsmaschinen mit Versicherungssummen von 13,2 Mio. EUR je Maschine. Die Versicherungssummen werden sowohl als Neuwert als auch Taxwerte angegeben. Es werden folgende Selbstbehaltsvarianten ausgeschrieben: Gruppe 1- 3: 50.000 EUR und 150.000 EUR (Die Auftraggeberin behält sich vor, nur einen Selbstbehalt zu wählen.) und Gruppe 4: 50.000 EUR. Für die Gruppen 1 - 3 wird ein einheitlicher Prämiensatz je Selbstbehalt erhoben und für die Gruppe 4 ein gesonderter.
