GSI is procuring a powerful, reliable and flexible Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system to support the joint operation of FAIR and GSI in Germany. The system will collect and structure data on buildings, facilities, equipment and processes, support operating and operator-responsibility workflows, make data available to other applications via interfaces, and enable alphanumeric, graphical and user-specific evaluations, from simple space reports to complex dependency analyses. A roughly 4-year implementation phase and a 4-year usage phase are planned, with extension options of up to 8 years. The procedure is a negotiated procedure with a call for competition.
