Germany - Pipeline planning - Project: Rehabilitation of the Lebit network - district heating route planning

A German contracting authority is procuring planning services for the rehabilitation of the district heating secondary network known as the 'Lebit network'. The contractor must carry out the complete planning of all pipework and the route, including pipe statics, up to transfer stations of multi-family houses and public buildings and up to property boundaries of single-family homes. This includes planning of line shut-offs, valves, venting and draining lines, shaft structures, building penetrations and the necessary excavation pits, taking into account traffic planning requirements and the ongoing operation of the existing island network. The planning must be clear enough to guarantee feasibility for the executing trades.
