Die Universität Hamburg (UHH) ist mit über 42.000 Studierenden die größte Universität in der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg, die größte Forschungs- und Ausbildungseinrichtung in Norddeutschland und eine der größten Hochschulen in Deutschland. Im Herzen der Freien Hansestadt Hamburg gelegen, bietet die Universität ein vielfältiges Lehrangebot und exzellente Forschung. Am Geomatikum entsteht das Haus der Erde - ein Neubau für die Klimaforschung und die Geowissenschaften. In dem Gebäude werden sieben Institute aus dem Fachbereich Geowissenschaften, die Verwaltung des Fachbereichs sowie eine kleine Einheit der Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften, die sich mit den Folgen des Klimawandels auseinandersetzt, untergebracht. Außerdem entstehen Flächen für die Forschungsstelle für Nachhaltige Umweltentwicklung (FNU), das Zentrum für Naturwissenschaft und Friedensforschung (ZNF) und das Institut für Hydrobiologie und Fischereiwissenschaft (IHF). Gegenstand des Verfahrens ist die Beschaffung und Lieferung von Möbeln für Aufenthalts-und Begegnungsflächen im Haus der Erde. Das Gebäude befindet sich im Stadtteil Eimsbüttel auf dem Campus Bundesstraße, Beim Schlump/Ecke Bundesstraße, 20146 Hamburg.
