Munich Airport in Germany is procuring 20 kV medium voltage cables as part of the project 'Munich Airport - Construction of the 3rd power grid'. The project creates a new, third 20 kV medium voltage network designed to provide a transmission capacity of up to 80 MVA in two expansion stages (2 x 40 MVA), supporting sustainable and future-proof energy supply, including electromobility and photovoltaic systems. The network consists of two parallel heavy-duty rings connected via heavy-duty substations (SLTS) and supply rings serving numerous medium voltage substations.
