Description

Gegenstand des Auftrags ist die Lieferung eines eines konfokalen Mikroskopsystems für den Einsatz im Hochsicherheitslabor (S4) des ZBS5 Im Rahmen des gesetzlichen Auftrages des RKI übernimmt ZBS5 zentrale Aufgaben zur Erforschung von humanpathogenen Hochrisikoerregern, einschließlich detaillierter Analysen von Infektionsmechanismen, Pathophysiologie und Virulenz. Das Fachgebiet setzt hierfür zunehmend auf komplexe, stammzell-abgeleitete 3D-Organoidkulturen sowie Organ-on-a-Chip-Modelle, die der menschlichen Gewebearchitektur ähnlich sind und damit ein unverzichtbares Werkzeug für präzise und translational relevante Infektionsstudien darstellen. Diese hoch-empfindlichen 3D-Modelle stellen außergewöhnliche Anforderungen an Bildgebungssysteme, insbesondere bezüglich der Beleuchtung, Abbildungstiefe, Arbeitsabstand, sowie der Gewährleistung konstanter Umgebungsbedingungen für Langzeituntersuchungen. Eine weitere spezifische Anforderung ist der Langzeitbetrieb des Mikroskops in einem Hochsicherheitslabor, das unter Bedingungen der Schutzstufe 4 (gemäß Biostoffverordnung) betrieben wird. Diese erfordert u.a. eine Begasungstauglichkeit und ein Wartungskonzept, das Wartung und Reparatur durch die Nutzer/innen umfasst. Konfokale Mikroskopsysteme erfüllen diese Anforderungen in der Regel nicht. Daher erfolgt die Vergabe gem. §14Abs.4Nr.2b)VgV.
