Hamburg's district heating network includes around 900 shafts whose water levels are monitored by sensors and transmitted via radio network to a server. The procurement covers the supply of a reporting and transmission unit for connecting sensor technology and forwarding messages over various telecommunication channels, including reporting devices, transmission unit, required software and the interface technology needed for operation. It also covers the delivery and installation of a remote telemetry device for continuous leak monitoring and localisation of buried insulated pipe (KMR). The telemetry devices are to be offered in three variants: IP66 housing, no housing, and housed with battery operation. All device messages must be handled through the same software and retrieval platform as the reporting and transmission unit.
