Description

Die zentrale Serverinfrastruktur der Stadt Aalen sowie der städtischen Schulen basiert weitgehend auf einer virtualisierten Rechenzentrumsumgebung auf Basis von VMware vSphere. Im Zuge der Übernahme von VMware durch Broadcom Inc. wurde die Lizenzierung auf ein ausschließlich zeitlich befristetes Subscriptionmodell umgestellt. Die bestehenden Lizenzen enden gestaffelt im Jahr 2026. Die Laufzeiten sind dem Leistungsverzeichnis zu entnehmen. Ziel dieser Ausschreibung ist die Ermittlung eines Handelspartners zum Abschluss eines Subscriptionlizenz-Vertrags mit einer Laufzeit von drei Jahren. Im Rahmen der Neubeschaffung sollen die bislang unterschiedlichen Laufzeiten auf ein einheitliches Vertragsende harmonisiert werden.
