Description
In der Abteilung Quanteninformation -und Kommunikation wird nicht-klassisches Licht durch nichtlineare optische Prozesse erzeugt. Für die Zustandsgeneration und Gebrauch dieser Zustände in Quantennetzen wird ein gepulstes pikosekunden-Lasersystem mit variabler Pulsdauer benötigt. Das gewünschte Lasersystem bietet gleichzeitig ein schmalbandiges Spektrum und trotzdem eine wohl-definierte Pulsdauer an. Das Lasersystem soll aus einem Pumplaser und einem optisch-parametrischen Oszillator (OPO) bestehen. Eine Laser-Kontrolleinheit und -Kühlungseinheit ist in dem System inkludiert. Es soll kompakt, vollautomatisiert und leicht bedienbar sein. Alle optischen und optomechanischen Komponenten für den laufenden Laserbetreib sind im System inkludiert.
