Summary

Machine-generated summary

The contract covers delivery free to the place of use, installation and commissioning of a Czochralski growth system for producing fluoride single crystals in a research environment. The system must grow crystals from the melt by a pulling process such as the Czochralski method, producing crystals up to 100 mm (4 inch) in diameter and up to 5 kg in weight. The crucible inside diameter is estimated at about 200 mm. The crystal growth takes place in a water-cooled stainless steel chamber with electropolished inner walls for high vacuum, heated by a graphite resistance heater, with argon and CF4 as process gases, a bake-out function, a platinum seed shaft, documentation, factory and final acceptance, and fault service. One performance unit is procured.
