Germany - Coastal and harbour facilities - Maintenance dredging Elbe 2027 / 2029

This tender covers maintenance dredging works in the navigation channel and fairway of the Lower and Outer Elbe in Germany. The works are wet dredging to maintain and restore the required depths and widths. The total scope comprises dredging, transport and relocation of approximately 30 million cubic metres of soil over a 24 month contract period from 1 May 2027 to 30 April 2029. Around 14.5 million cubic metres per year are to be dredged in the first year and about 10.5 million in the second, using a maximum of two dredging units, specifically trailing suction hopper dredgers. The average calculated transport distance for 25 million cubic metres is about 22.8 km. Suction dredgers with barges may be offered as variant bids, and an additional dredger is to carry out four campaign dredgings.
