Das Klinikum der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMUK) zählt mit seinen beiden Münchner Standorten Campus Großhadern und Campus Innenstadt zu den führenden medizinischen Universitätsklinika in Deutschland und Europa. Das LMU-Klinikum umfasst 29 Fachkliniken, zwölf Institute und sieben Abteilungen sowie 50 interdisziplinäre Zentren. Fast alle Disziplinen sind am Campus Großhadern vertreten. Da in der derzeitigen baulichen Struktur des Campus Großhadern die Bildung räumlich zusammenhängender Zentren nicht realisierbar ist, muss der Campus daher neu gebaut werden. Der erste Bauabschnitt des Neubaus beinhaltet die Errichtung folgender Bauteile inkl. der Außenanlagen: 1. Diagnostikum (DIAKUM) mit ca. 14.500 m² NUF 2. Herz,- Lungen- und Gefäßzentrum (HLG) inkl. Hubschrauberlandeplatz mit ca. 26.300 m² NUF 3. Onkologisches Zentrum (ONKO) inkl. Sonderisolierstation (SIS) mit ca. 23.850 m² NUF Des Weiteren umfasst der erste Bauabschnitt auch die bauliche und technische Erschließung des Neubaus. Die Ausschreibung der Totalunternehmerleistungen erfolgt in 3 Losen. Los 1 betrifft das Diagnostikum (Diakum), Los 2 betrifft das Herz-Lungen-Gefäß-Zentrum (HLG), Los 3 das Onkologische Zentrum (ONKO). Zusätzlich sollen die Bieter in den Losen 2 und 3 die Möglichkeit haben, ein Angebot auf die Kombination der Lose 2 (HLG) und 3 (Onko) anzugeben.
