Transformation des Systems vom aktuellen SAP R3 zum SAP S/4 Hana Die MVB hat sich für die Transformation vom aktuellen SAP R3 zum SAP S/4 Hana entschieden. Das aktuelle SAP-System ist seit 2009 in Betrieb und der Wechsel zum S4 Hana soll zum 01.01.2027 abgeschlossen sein. Durch die lange Betriebszeit des R3 hat die Datenqualität gelitten. Derzeit verursachen nicht mehr verwendete Materialstammsätze oder doppelte Geschäftspartner zu erhöhten Aufwänden in den Prozessen. Daher hat sich die MVB gegen eine reine Systemkonversion, sondern für einen Greenfield-Ansatz mit selektiver Datenübernahme entschieden. Ziel der Transformation ist es, Altlasten hinter sich zu lassen und systemische Innovationen durch S4 Hana zu nutzen. Das Sinnbild ist "die Garage (R3-System) aufzuräumen". Dieses Projekt besteht aus 2 Meilensteinen: 1. Findung des Umsetzungspartners für die S/4 Transformation 2. Findung des Hostingpartners der S/4 Hana Systeme
