Die MPG hat Bedarf an einer gesamthaften Versicherung gegen das Feuerrisiko für Gebäude und Inventar "Inventar" = Betriebseinrichtung + Vorräte" ihrer Institute und Einrichtungen (einschließlich der Generalverwaltung) in Deutschland sowie an der Kompetenz, definierte Risiken im Ausland über gesonderte Verträge gegen das Feuerrisiko absichern zu können. Die Deckungssumme beträgt 10 Mrd. EUR. Der Vertrag stellt ein "Lex-Max-Planck" dar. Es wird eine 3-jährige Prämiensatzbindung verlangt. Da die MPG auch Liegenschaften im Ausland (Italien, Niederlande') unterhält, sind diese Risiken umzudecken. Für die ausländischen Deckungen gilt ein MasterCover mit Deckungspauschalen. Die Höchstentschädigungssumme beträgt 345 Mio. € je Schadensfall. Die Kündigung des Vertrages erfolgt einseitig über den Auftraggeber (MPG). Im Falle von Schäden erfolgt die Abwicklung über einen Ansprechpartner*in. Die MPG hat Bedarf an einer gesamthaften Versicherung gegen das Feuerrisiko für Gebäude und Inventar "Inventar" = Betriebseinrichtung + Vorräte" ihrer Institute und Einrichtungen (einschließlich der Generalverwaltung) in Deutschland sowie an der Kompetenz, definierte Risiken im Ausland über gesonderte Verträge gegen das Feuer-risiko absichern zu können. Letzteres begründet sich in der Tatsache, dass unter den Institu-ten auch Institute sind, die eine Außenstelle im Ausland haben, oder selbst sich im Ausland befinden. Versicherungstechnisch wird nach EU und Nicht-EU-Ausland unterschieden. Auch diese Standorte müssen Compliance-gerecht versichert werden.
