The contract covers screed works as part of the conversion and refurbishment of a student residence at Plauener Weg 8 on the campus in Erfurt, where 230 student accommodation places are to be comprehensively modernised. The project includes adding storeys to the building to create additional student places. The building is a GDR prefabricated slab construction of type WBS 70 with six above-ground storeys plus a basement, consisting of two building sections to be joined by a newly constructed connecting structure for horizontal access. The works include site set-up, preparatory works, subfloor preparation and levelling, demolition and floor waterproofing, calcium sulphate flow screed with underfloor heating, cement screed as bonded screed, movement joints and recesses.
