FABB3 Gießen Hbf Im Rahmen der Förderinitiative zur Attraktivitätssteigerung und Barrierefreiheit von Bahnhöfen (FABB) - Säule 3 „Attraktivitätssteigerung von Empfangsgebäuden“ ist das Ziel des Projektes eine energetische und denkmalpflegerische Sanierung des Empfangsgebäudes zur Sicherstellung der Barrierefreiheit und Steigerung der Kapazität. Geplant ist die Sanierung des Gebäudes sowohl im Innen- als auch im Außenbereich. Der erste Bauabschnitt umfasst den Innenbereich und wird als nächstes begonnen. Im Anschluss daran folgt der zweite Bauabschnitt im Außenbereich. Im Rahmen der Maßnahmen im Innenbereich (Bauabschnitt 1.) sind folgende Arbeiten geplant: Erneuerung der Beleuchtung für die Empfangshall, inklusive Sicherheitsbeleuchtung und Lausprecheranlagen.
