Description

Bodenstationsnetzwerk-Service für die Kleinsatellitenmission ROMEO Die Universität Stuttgart, vertreten durch ihr Institut für Raumfahrsysteme (IRS), benötigt ein weltweit verteiltes und verwaltetes Netzwerk von Satelliten-Bodenstationen, das als Dienstleistung angeboten wird (nachfolgend als Bodenstationennetzwerk bezeichnet). Dieses Bodenstationennetzwerk ist erforderlich für die Steuerung und den Empfang von Daten (hauptsächlich Telemetrie) des ROMEO-Satelliten, der derzeit am IRS entwickelt wird. Das Netzwerk ist insbesondere in den frühen Missionssphasen (LEOP und Inbetriebnahme) erforderlich, wenn die Systemoperationen mehrere Kontakte pro Tag mit dem Raumfahrzeug erfordern, was allein durch die Bodenstationen der Universität nicht erreicht werden kann.
