Die Lecos GmbH ist ein Beratungs- und Dienstleistungsunternehmen für Informationstechnik und Telekommunikation aus Leipzig, das seine Leistungen insbesondere für Kommunen und Landkreise in Sachsen und Sachsen-Anhalt erbringt. Das Unternehmen unterstützt durch den Betrieb von Hardwaresystemen, Datennetzen, Telekommunikationssystemen, Datenbanken und Softwareverfahren die Durchführung und Umsetzung kommunaler Prozesse. Der Auftraggeber legt sich auf die Software Jira der Firma Atlassian fest. Des Weiteren verfügt der Auftraggeber Inhouse über tiefergehendes Know How zu Jira, was die Akzeptanz stärkt, sowie die Konfiguration und weitergehende Einführung vereinfacht und effektiviert. Der bereits erfolgreiche Einsatz der Software Jira von Atlassian im Kontext des Projektmanagements ist als weiterer Grund anzuführen, warum die Festlegung auf die Software besteht.
