Der Auftrag umfasst die Objektplanungsleistungen des Leistungsbildes Gebäude und Innenräume nach § 33 ff HOAI in Verbindung mit Anlage 10 HOAI inklusive Planung Innenräume (Innenarchitektur), Leistungsphasen 1-9 für den Neubau einer Werkstätte für Menschen mit Behinderung (WfbM) mit 48 Plätze in Gundelfingen a. d. Donau. Die Regens-Wagner-Stiftung Dillingen, als Rechtsträger von Regens Wagner Dillingen, vertreten durch die Direktion der Regens-Wagner-Stiftungen beabsichtigt den Neubau einer Werkstätte für Menschen mit Behinderung (WfbM) mit 48 Plätze in Gundelfinden a. d. Donau. Der Bezirk Schwaben hat mit Schreiben vom 19.05.2017 einer Erweiterung der Werkstattplätze der Regens-Wagner-Werkstätten Dillingen am Standort Dillingen und Gundelfingen um 48 Plätze auf nunmehr 228 Plätze zugestimmt. Eine durchgeführte Wirtschaftlichkeitsbetrachtung kam zum Ergebnis, dass die bauliche Umsetzung mittels eines Neubaus erfolgen soll.
