Description

Für die bestehende Backuplösung auf Offline Medien wird eine Wartungsverlängerung für die enthaltende Hard- und Software für die nächsten 3 Jahre benötigt. Die bestehenden Wartungsverträge laufen zum 30.4.2026 aus. Um den Anforderungen in dem kommenden Zeitraum Rechnung zu tragen, ist beabsichtigt das Lizenzvolumen für die Quelldaten um 22 TB zu erweitern. 1.1 Hardwareelemente der bestehenden Backuplösung Das Backupsystem besteht aus einer IBM TS4500 Base Frame 3584-L25 mit 4 Laufwerken des Typs 3592-60F. Die Verbindung der Library mit dem Server wird mit 2 IBM-SAN Switchen SAN24B-6 8960-F24 hergestellt. 1.2 Softwareelemente der bestehenden Backuplösung Die verwendete Software ist die IBM Storage Protect Suite und IBM Storage Protect for Virtualization und ist für Front End Terabyte lizensiert. Momentan sind 78 TB lizensiert. Die Lizenzierung soll dafür um 3 Jahre verlängert werden. 1.3 Lizenzerweiterung der bestehenden Backuplösung Für die Erweiterung der Quelldaten um 22 TB, wird eine neue Lizenz benötigt. Diese enthält 1 Jahr Wartung. Dazu muss die Erweiterung um 22 TB mit zusätzlichen 2 Jahren Verlängerung (zu den 1 Jahr Standard) erworben werden, sodass auch hier für die Erweiterung 22 TB insgesamt 3 Jahre Wartung enthalten sind.
